typing skill
Current Mood : Awake
Currently listening To: Worst Pie in London - Sweeney Todd
I am addicted to Sweeney Todd's musical! Its been looping in my iTunes quite frequently lately because I do love dark humor =)
And just because I am in a good mood today I'll admit it's also because I like Johny Depp very much too. His singing is pretty good actually, just don't understand why other people insists otherwise.
So like yes now our newsletter is finally off our backs and I have had the pleasure to relax a long and well deserved weekend. Its been a rather interesting experience as I have learned a great deal from the project, like how to better utilize Microsoft Publisher. And great timing too! Because I have now been entrusted to the production of the Ed Board's newsletter which should be done asap and with a better knowledge of Microsoft Publisher it should be alright plus I have a great helper who is way more efficient than I am....but knowing my slacking abilities....... ahhhh... I am going to start on the first few pages tonight!!!
I will cancel my plans tonight and hog the laptop and get it done or I shall not sleep in peace.
After surfing blogs around the TGJ4M blogsphere looking for inspiration and chancing upon Cherry's blog post about typing speed I decided to take the trial test and see how I fared. Needless to say that my typing skill is a calamity. I can type fast yes, but I cannot type fast AND accurately at the same time. Despite typing almost all my life (or since I was 14 to be more or less exact) I still have the tendency to forget where certain keys are located. The odd part is I only forget when I am forced to locate the key individually.
Maybe that is why I totally screwed up the typing game. =<
So what I did was download the trial version and am currently undergoing a freshie's course on how to type properly 8D (I just hope I have the patience to do everything from scratch again, I so hate doing a noob's work)
Then nobody can make fun of the typos I make online anymore. Because I do it oh-so-frequently I've been poked fun of on many occasions. How undeniable cruel and evil =(
