Mr. A was right on the spot. Well, halfway anyway.
He said that despite everything, we would actually love the process of making the music video. Initially I would have wholeheartedly disagreed, but now I bite my tongue back in second thoughts.
Indeed, it had been fun. More so for us as we had 3 groups supporting each other. We did a huge chunk of scenes together, complimenting each other with camera works and workable ideas. We drove those who did not have the luxury of having a vehicle to their respective locations.
That's why you see me in all three music videos, all wearing the same clothes. Haha =)
Alex and Maggie, Bilale and Mohammad, Marshal and myself. It had been a blast. Had it not been for this assignment, I very much doubt we could have bonded so well. Or ever have dinner together at Subway. These small little things are the ones that makes every minute spent on the assignment well worth it. The laughter especially.
Personally, I think we need to do quite a few revamping on our music video, the concept and context. After watching the preview of the other group members, awe had swept me off my feet and left me horrible disappointed with our own work. Surely we could do better....
I mentioned that Mr. A was only halfway right. That's because the editing part has been most agonizing. A beautiful song has now been condemned to music hell simply because I have heard it one too many times, too closely.
I'm so glad we chose a song Marshal loved, and not something I do. I'd rather not risk hating my song selections, as they are all very much the lovely and extremely good for my soul.
