Lately I've started to use LimeWire to get my music.

So far it's been going great, as I have found many songs I wanted rather easily. The high transfer rate is such an added bonus. Relatively safe from malicious spyware and idiotic users (like Bearshare, ugh!) I think I can get comfortable using LimeWire.

I wonder what took me so long.

I have always held doubt for peer-to-peer platforms as they can be vulnerable as well as dangerous at the same time. Countless times have I had to suffer trojans and spywares cruising around in my system files, crashing my hardrive as they go along. Bearshare is one of those really crappy programs that everyone would be better off staying away from. Not to mention the insane amount of porn one could find in there... ew. Can't say that LimeWire is absolutely free from all that, but it is in a better controlled environment.

And it's just fast!!
