Facebook can be the ultimate boredom killer sometimes 8D
There's this new application that a friend sent a while back but I only gave notice to it yesterday, its called Text Twirl. So basically its a game application on Facebook where they give you a number of jumbled up alphabets and the player is supposed to make up as many words as possible based on it. Its an old game yes, but its so darn addictive!!!!
It is so totally my top favorite application on Facebook now.
Its not one of those mindless games with no additional benefits either, because this game challenges your English vocabulary and quick thinking skills as well as your ability to pick up words (which needs eyes and finger coordination). It motivates one to increase our vocab sense highly.
So far its been frustrating for me. =D As a person who have more or less always been assured, and somewhat proud of my range of vocabulary and good English command, I found myself heavily challenged by this game. Its so weird, since its simple game with simple rules, but it is definitely not something that can be easily conquered.
Oh, I believe I have gotten Alex hooked on it as well. *smiles*
At one point while walking to the car after class, I contemplated with the urge to go home and read through the dictionary to read up possible words for the game. Its insane, I know. But there is this pride in my English strength that can be so stubborn sometimes. XD
