Playstation 3

WANT!!!!!!





Despite all the controversies and all the kinks and complaints PS3 owners have been ranting about.... I want a PS3! If you have so much to be displeased about the latest Sony game platform , please do the world a favor and pass them to yours truly. I shall be eternally grateful and hence shall present you with a bar of chocolate. =D

The platform had been released in Japan since November 2006. That was such a long time ago. I knew then that it would have been unwise to purchase it so soon. Sony was clearly pushing their options to the limit when they unveiled and released the PS3 in such a haste. This is due to the pressuring need for Sony to find a quick revenue regeneration following their heavy losses in some microchip investment gone really horrifically wrong. Unfortunately the unveiling of the PS3 didn't quite manage to generate as much feedback, or hype as Sony would have hoped for. Unless one is referring about the multiple cases of customers being shot and their platforms stolen, or neighbor murdered or campers robbed at gunpoint. Not quite the hype Sony was expecting to generate I hope. One of the more probably reasons as to why the craze was rather more subtle compared to the days of the PS2 would be be that in this era the war of the titans - namely Xbox360 and the Nintendo Wii (all also known as the 7th generation video game console) was also gradually taking over the scenes. Gone are the days where Sony PlayStation conquered the gaming scene.

Nevertheless, I'm a loyal Sony Playstation Generation fan. A very patient one at that. I have to bite my lips and force myself to look away whenever I see the consoles for sale on display. Close my ears when people talk about actually playing it. For now. Oh the torture.....

I don't mind not having a Xbox360 or the Nintendo Wii.... not that I don't want one mind you, I wouldn't complain ever receiving either one, or even both as a gift *hint hint*

For I know that the PS3 is going to be good. Sure they have all the up-to-date high technology incorporated within the console. Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, BlueTooth and what-nots. Honestly speaking I couldn't care less about how great the console itself is. I can think about that later. What I truly care about, are the games of course!

I've seen many a game trailers available for PS3. I have been smitten-ed.

Final Fantasy XIII Versus

The two ultimate games I am itchingly dying to lay my hands on to play. Sadly for now, I can only rely on my other consoles for comfort.
