I like thai commercials.

I like commercials that makes a difference. I like commercials that are especially funny. Stuff like Digi, or those of Pepsi VS Coke. Which is why I like commercials from Thailand. Thai commercials are pretty wicked. I find such commercial videos on YouTube and I love them immensely. Some are just downright outrageously funny, some are cute like our very own Digi commercials.

Then late yesterday night as I was chatting with a close friend on MSN, he shared with me a series of Thai commercials. They were anything but funny. It was a series of Thai Insurance commercials, and boy did it make my tear pipe burst beyond repair. These are by far the most touching commercials I have ever watched in my life, and I thought I'd share with my blogreaders and fellow course mates.

In the end, you don't see much of the insurance promotion. Instead the creators have decided to focus on the relationship between human beings instead, something personal that happens to each and everyone of us. They are promoting the emotional bond between family members, and it's so touching T_____________T

I like how the web enables us to connect beyond boundaries, across geographical barriers. How we can understand the difference in each other, and at the same time know that we are very much the same deep down inside. I like how Web 2.0 platforms makes it even easier for this to be achieved.
