paragraph writing~ mock osslt

Current Mood : Sleepy
Currently listening To: Murmaider - Dethklok

Honestly, this crummy weather of miserable rain will be the death of me soon.

Is it really too much to ask for a day of nice weather where I can casually walk to the bus stand to catch a bus and not get soaked in rain water or risk getting struck by lightning? Is it really?!

Why is the sun being so biased against me all of a sudden? C'mon Sunshine spread some love evenly here okay, it's not like Australia needs you that often anyway. Remember they need less of you anyway cause they have this huge ozone problem right above them. Hmph. =< style="font-style: italic;">tiredddddddd......

Then it gets me thinking about the topic we did for our paragraph writing in ComTech today. Should people who download illegal movies be arrested and punished. Man that was one of the most un-motivational subject ever. Why would anyone want to set such a question just to read through dozens of rubbish answers that are probably more boring than the question itself?

Regardless, had to do it just the same. *headdesk*

On one hand, I do not believe they should be arrested and punished. Oh look how I casually shift the responsibility to others by using the term 'they' and not 'we' =D

But there was little argument points to write on disagreeing. It boiled down to a choice between wanting to do the right thing and defend my personal opinion, or write a good essay that can score well. The contemplation of course, did not last long.

Still.

I don't think I did as well on this paper as compared to the previous one we had last week. If you ask me I think the mock test itself wasn't all that hard, so maybe its because my motivation to write has toned down. Previously I worried my mind to pieces about the difficulty level of the test.... now I'm just dissapointed at how its not as challenging as I hoped it to be till I'm lost at words.

Please let there be no more writing exercises for the mock test T_________T

Googling self

Current Mood : Energetic
Currently listening To:
Harari, Hirari - Sono

I tried Googling myself out today, and the end results were pretty interesting to say the least. Ok maybe cept the part where I found out there's a famous Japanese porn star who shares the same name as my Japanese one. *laughs nervously*

Firstly I tried image Googling out "Suyin"..............

.... and the first image on the page that I found was a spa called Suyin in Auckland! Sweeeeeeeeeeet~ I wonder if I'd get a discount if I ever went there. 8DDD

With Web Google I found www.suyin.com. A company based in Taiwan that manufactures... well... connectors. Lol. I have no particular comments on that hahahaha.

In Wikipedia there is of course, a detailed profile of Han Suyin - A Chinese born English writing author during the regime of President Mao in China. My mum actually named me after her because mum really liked her works and such and Han Suyin was sort of like an inspiration to her =) I'm pretty proud of my name hehe. Unfortunately I tried reading her books before and I found it to be extremely *not* my type of read. Maybe one day...

Step two : Googling out "Kaede" - Which is my non official Japanese name I've been recognized with for the past 6 years or so now. Hey even some of the lecturers call me by my Japanese name =D Anywayz.

I found an interesting entry on Youtube. Apparently there's this really really old band called Spitz, and one of their famous single is "Kaede" (Which by the way means Maple in English - Think CANADA!)

Other than that.... what I found through Web Google mostly were links to various blogs belonging to my friends, links to old posts I made in online forums yeaaaaaaarsss ago, and even my old blog site which I had left abandoned =/ Its pretty creepy really once you think about it, since anyone can stalk my history if they wanted to and it's all up there on the net and no one takes it down *o*;;;;

I suppose I should be really glad right now that I'm not the type that posts my personal pictures onlin...much. I did on Facebook, however Facebook doesn't appear in search engines =)

I should go migrate to Hawaii soon. Bring my dog along. <3
