sleepy now

Current Mood : Still exhausted. Sleepy now
Currently listening To: -

I noticed that I have been starting my posts with one-liners lately. In order to curb that habit I have picked up, I have posted about my postings in one liners, a most random manner to solve the one-liner mark.

I think I need sleep O_O

I've been doing the CCP and have been mulling over some considerations to my project. Even until now I cannot quite grasp how the heck am I going to produce a reasonable satisfying marketing booklet. It's the first on my list to complete, because I thought it would be a tad bit easier. Alas, my demand of self is much higher compared to my skill in layout editing. D=

So far the only page I am satisfied with is the front cover... which really isn't saying much because the idea for layout concept was something I once glanced over from a magazine of sort before. To counter this I have been brainstorming and pouring over magazines, flyers, newsletters, pamphlets and other print media like mad for the past few days. I have a few ideas churning in my head right now, just haven't found the time to actually materialize my visuals.

Thank you ed-board for eating up all my time D8

On the other hand, the essay shouldn't pose as an obstacle to me once I get the points in order and fix my English a little.

I am falling behind again in Comtech, a feeling I totally hate as I rather be on the top of my pile of work. Sometimes I wonder if my priorities are being set properly when it comes to which work is more important, which deserves to demand more of my time. How I wish I was a more efficient person, one that can work fast with computers and layouts.

Not gonna happen soon, but I'm learning. I may be a slow learner, but I can see myself progressing. It might not be up to peoples expectation, but I can be proud and happy that I am moving forward. I believe that is all that matters in the end.

So whats there to look forward to this week in Comtech alone?

* Video Logs
* Podcasts!!!! The entire world is against me making my podcast =.=
* Regular blogposts!! I should shoot myself for not doing it..
* Essay
* Completion of the Marketing Booklet

I tried making my first video log tonight... hopefully I can get it up and posted on this blog fast.

I have a big fat hunch that from this week on I shall be on a sleep deprivation mode in order to complete all my assignments and projects. Am soooo looking forward to it as I look forward to being swarmed by live prawns.

eep

Read an interesting piece of article today off cnet.com, one which involves Facebook borrowing $100 million to keep up with the management of the company due to it's ever increasing growth. The money is meant to be invested in some 50,000 more servers, built better infrastructures, and raise the number of Facebook employees from the mere 450 to roughly 1000 over manpower. Talk about wow factor.

I remember the video screened in class before about Zuckerberg and Facebook, more prominently the portion which mentioned that even though Facebook is worth alot of money, and that Zuckerberg himself was estimated to be worth millions upon millions, the company doesn't see the revenue in hard cold cash. Its to say that Facebook actually isn't making much profit compared to the estimated value it holds to it's name.

No wonder they need to borrow money D=

Still, does it really cost THAT much of money to expand server farms? O.o
